Established in 2014

African Producers and Exporters (APEL)  is the result of a close partnership between producers, exporters and importers in West Africa and Europe. 

APEX-KO is based in Korhogo, the centre of the Ivory Coast Mango region.

Established in 2014, APEX-KO now exports over 2500 tons of mango each year to the European market.

ELMAREX MALI, based in Sikasso, has been a strategic partner from the start, increasing our volume by 2000 tons and extending the mango season into June.

Together we form the APEL Group.

What are we doing here:

1.Our purpose is to find viable markets for our 130 producers so that they can improve their lives, increase their yields and develop and grow their businesses.

2.Helping communities, across our entire operation we reach out and make a difference to over 3000 people each year.

3.Underpinning all this is our dedication and drive to provide the best possible and most reliable service to all our Clients.

Our Vision:

APE Group has three main points of focus for the next three years:

  • Increasing export volume and improving packing capacity in Ivory Coast and Mali.
  • The development of 250 ha of agricultural land to include early and mid season mango varieties. This will allow shipping to start in March.
  • Mango Drying Development and expansion to utilise fruit not suitable for export
